Looking For a Beach Vacation Condo? Consider Siesta Key Real Estate

Have you been searching for a place to vacation or buy a winter home? Take a gander at the island oasis of Siesta Key. This eight mile long barrier island off the coast of Sarasota, Florida is a great place to spend time with your family on vacation, escape the winters of the north or to retire and spend the rest of your life. Siesta Key is surrounded by the clear aqua waters of the Gulf of Mexico and Sarasota bay. The beach is gorgeous and always ranks as one of the prettiest beaches in the country by several respected professionals.

Siesta Key real estate is very diverse. You can find condos, townhouses, villas and single family homes. Budgets also vary on the island. You can find something as little at $200,000 for a condominium all of the way to a home on the beach in excess of $10,000,000.

Siesta Key condos are very popular for northerners who want to escape the harsh winters and come to Florida play in the sun. The great advantage to a condo is that you can lock it and leave it. Typically, the association takes care of the grounds, roofs and other common areas giving you comfort knowing that the community will be properly maintained during the months you are not there. Here are four great Siesta Key condo options.

1) Terrace East
This is one of my favorite buildings on Siesta Key. It is located right in the village so you don’t need to hop in the car every time you want a drink with friends, a meal with the family or to do some shopping. The building sits right across the street from the beach so all of the units have breathtaking views of the water and beach. You can’t go wrong in the Terrace East.

2) Siesta Gulf View
This building sits right on the beach and offers all residents fabulous views of the clear blue waters. You will love the easy access to the beach. Siesta Gulf View is maintained very well and is not far from the village. Amenities include a tennis court, pool, building manager, covered parking, storage, elevators and security. You will just love the views.

3) Peppertree
This gulf to bay complex sits right on the beach. Access to the powdery white sands of Siesta Key beach is within footsteps. Peppertree is made up of condos within a midrise as well as townhouses and villas. It is a great mix of people. Spend a little time at the swimming pool and you will feel the happiness of the residents.

4) Palm Bay Club
Would you like some income while you are not using your condo? This is a great place to do that as it allows short term rentals. There is an on-site rental office that will manage the tenants for you. It is head ache free to generate some income. Palm Bay Club sits right on the beach and goes all of the way to the bay side of the island. The community is pretty and maintained very well. There are several condo mid rises and a tower on the beach. Views from the condo tower are spectacular. Depending where you are in the tower you will have great views of the beach, water and perhaps the Sarasota bay.
